Swine flu : Another H1N1 positive dies in SKIMS; toll 8 | KNO

Srinagar: A swine flu victim who was admitted in Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura died on Saturday taking the death toll of confirmed H1N1 patients to 8, an official said this afternoon. “One female patient 72-years-old expired today as a case of Carcinoma Esophagus with Sepsis and tested positive for H1N1 also,” a spokesperson of the SKIMS said in a statement issued to GNS. The spokesperson, however, didn’t identify the victim. Apart from the death of another person, 14 more patients are admitted in SKIMS, the spokesperson said. With 14 more positive cases, the toll of swine flu victims climbed to 45 in the Valley.(GNS)
